I have bought Stride Rite brand for my kids for years and this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. My daughter liked these shoes and the colors go well with a lot of clothes. HOWEVER, the buckle holding the straps on is basically disintegrated after just a few months of wear (the discoloration on the strap isn’t dirt- it’s the iridescent color rubbing off). A big design flaw that needs to be fixed. Buyer beware.

Looked nice out of the box. Surprisingly narrow toe box which I didn’t expect from a stride right shoe. The shoe fabric pulled away from the sole (the full front half after six months of wear. Generally expect sneakers to wear longer than that.
